BDG is seeking an enthusiastic Branded Production Intern to assist a group of production managers on the BDG Studios team. BDG Studios is a full-service creative agency that leverages the BDG editorial vision, audience, and scale to create 360-degree content programs for brand partners. Qualified applicants must express an interest in furthering their experience in production and digital media. We are interested in flexible candidates with production experience, attention to detail, and proactivity.
As an intern, you'll get a peek into the ins and outs of branded content and production across multiple verticals - fashion, beauty, entertainment, and more. You should be scrappy and ready to help with a wide variety of tasks, whether you're hunting down a product for a shoot, doing admin work, or lending a hand on set for photo and video productions.
BDG’s 2024 Internship Program is an exciting opportunity to get hands-on experience at one of the fastest growing digital media companies today. Our immersive program gives each intern the chance to explore and develop their interests through executive mentorship, career training, professional development seminars and workshops, collaborative projects, off-site events and more.
This is a paid, part-time opportunity beginning June 3, 2024 and runs through August 23, 2024. Candidates should be available to work up to 28 hours per week, and will be given the choice to work either remotely or from BDG’s New York City HQ office near Madison Square Park, depending on your role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-production and on set support, including (but not limited to) messengering product to/from office and shoot location, packing/unpacking, coffee runs, booking transportation and catering
  • Coordinate shoot orders and deliveries for: gear, props, furniture and crafty
  • Assist with product fulfillment, tracking, shipping & returns for photo/video shoots
  • Coordinate call sheets and creative briefing calls with production managers
  • Book travel and accommodations for crew & BDG staff for any on-location shoots
  • Research new studios, crew, & stylists to add to production rolodex
  • Collect, consolidate, and track receipts for photo/video shoot related purchases
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Availability at least 3 days per week to work hybrid in NYC/On-location for shoots
  • Passion for furthering experience in Film/Video/Photo, Media Production, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital Media
  • Strong organizational and communication skills. You should be proactive and detail-oriented!
  • Background in production, media, video or similar and/or experience working on photo/video sets (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • You should be able to present a professional demeanor in all scenarios (as well as over email), as you'll be exposed to multiple teams at BDG and potentially advertising clients.
  • An insatiable appetite for content on the web and all things TikTok.
  • An enthusiasm for BDG’s mission, and the energy to work at a fast-paced company. A flexible, ambitious mind goes a long way!
